Foundation Botulinum Toxin Course
2 day intense course - 10am-3pm
Our two day Botulinum Toxin (anti-wrinkle injection) course will train you to deliver a safe, successful and confident treatment. You will start day one with an interactive presentation from our highly skilled tutor. Following on from that, each student will be required to carry out a full assessment/consultation via roleplay to build up your confidence. We encourage students to work in pairs for this exercise in order to ensure that students fully understand how to assess their clients, go through all contra-indications, client expectations, risks and possible side effects. Day two will require 1 model. Each student will be required to give a confident consultation, check a client’s medical history and go through the expectations of their client correctly, as well as learning to know how to mark up their clients facial anatomy and dilute botulinum toxin, ready to inject into marked up areas. Finally, students are required to remember how many insulin units are required per injection site, needle depth and safety checks.

To ensure a perfect training experience, a maximum of 3 delegates are enrolled on this course, enabling you to draw upon expert knowledge of muscular facial anatomy and treatment options for the face. You will have the opportunity to learn by tutor demonstration, consulting and assessing, along with a live model with close supervision and support. We allow for all of our students to come back and redo the course for free should they want to refresh their knowledge.
CERTIFICATION AND KIT: You will receive your CPD accredited certificate at the end of your course along with all details on how to get insured and who with. As soon as you leave the course, you are ready to begin to integrate your new treatment into your existing portfolio. Many academies ask for case studies but it means that they are done without insurance which completely goes against our ethics. This course includes a small kit for you to take home with you and we will go through anything extra needed and where to purchase it. This course does include a full colour manual (exact pages may differ as we are constantly updating content).
